  • I fucking hate neons... Can't handle around corners worth shit. The srt-4 motor is a great design but the body that dodge put it in... Gay!

  • @northerncustomsracin they do sound pretty mean, and with any kind of exhaust(especially a dp) they have that infamous growl-blop pop-if you know what i mean lol..but they're like and even uglier bug eye, and there not even awd :/...

  • @MrBadfish2 sorry dude, but srt-4s are gay, very very gay, idc if there quick, there straight up fucking gay, id never drive one in my life, but lets see an srt 4 go up against cars its actually meant to go against, i have a feeling it wuld get killed very easily

  • @USGiorgi I can see where you're coming from about the drivers. But you gotta look at the other factors. When the car came out, it was cheap to buy, cheap to insure, and pretty quick. So a lot of parents bought them for their dumbass kids. Does that mean every srt driver is like that? not at all. Yea performance and reliability don't usually go hand in hand, but that can be said about ANY auto maker (besides the italians). Darrel Cox owns a few and i'm pretty sure he's not a tool.

    Reliability and performance don't usually go hand in hand. That's especially true for Dodge and pretty much every American car maker. They may be reliable if driven like regular Neons, but the people who own them are complete tools who try to race every car on the road. They're like little Chihuahuas who wont stop barking! You're right though, instead of headers, I should have said manifold.

  • also, trying to down someone about their cars performance while driving a volvo just doesn't work out.......... like ever..... and barely handles it's stock power? engine is maxed out? you realize the srt has blcok internals capable of over 500whp right? and that just an upgraded wastegate has proven gains of over 20whp? It's an amazing platform that is highly underrated because of the fact it's a neon. You drive a volvo, just keep that in mind. because performance isn't your foothold.

  • @USGiorgi I'll say this, badfish doesn't know what he's talking about (the engine is NOT built by mercedes, it's an A853 engine designed and built by chrysler for years lol) but you do realize there are no "headers" on a turbocharged I4 right? the turbo and manifold are one unit. To change the header is to change the turbo.... And as far as reliability, you need to fact check yourself. The A853 set the world landspeed record for fastest production 4 cylinder cars. Sound good to me.
