@last1born313 for every .1 seconds you shave off you also shave about 1/2 to 1 full car length from the factory. so say you do mods and now your car goes 0-60 in 6.3. then you will probably win by 3-4 car lengths.

@TheBopop A 6.7 0-60 off the factory line? thats not soo terrible is it?
-
@amhater 1,530 kg v. 1,468kg.... not that different man, your mustang is actually lighter but not by much... those extra two cylinders dont even count.
-
yeah good point but a mid 14 second car stock isnt bad at all , really is just matters who has the most money to mod there car lol
-
@tylerjones1967 yea for a sedan its not bad but to compare it to a faster car and still say its fast is dumb. the gtp is a 15 sec or high 14 second car. not really fast but good for what its worth and the motor is easliy tunable. BUT it takes money to drop it down to 12's

What year is this GTP?
-
@TheBopop I've got the gxp..idc if your Mario andretti racing that shit stain car..I'll seat 5 comfortably and still walk all over that mustang.
-
@tolerance775 a gtp is fast when money is put into it, from the factory they are slow.
-
@tolerance775 2k is not going to drop your time 3 seconds in the quarter mile i promise. you need supporting mods, read my posts again. a new 5.0 will do 12's stock. never said a 4.6 will. ive done work to my 4.6 and it is in the 12;s now and yes parts for stangs are expensive but a blower for us is a KB or whipple not a heaton. i like gtps pls dont get me wrong i have owned a 04 monte 3.8 s/c motor with work done to it. It was hitting 12;s with alot of money spent.
@amhater oh i'm sorry, how about you take out the extra two cylinders that v8 mustang has versus the 3.8 v6 in the gtp.......if we're being fair
