Can you imagine being that guy and everyone STILL remembers your wipeout 35 years later and is greeting you with, "Hey you're the wipeout/agony of defeat guy!" XD

Nothing was ever for free

Unfortunately, ABC WWOS has been replaced by Pay-per-View (as if paying for cable was not enough!). When the Baby Boomer generation got into power in the tv networks, it was the beginning of the end for free quality sports broadcasting. With their cut-throat sensibilities and penny-pinching, bean-counting mentality, these despicable ASSHOLES have (and continue to) take away everything that was once free and make us pay layers of costs (cable, ppv, etc). Sickening.
