You won't find this one on the 'Best Of' CDs. This is the flip of 'No Rebate On Love', a song that charted in Fall '75. This is a spin-off group of Dramatics that was put together by Wee Gee Howard after he left the original Dramatics. Ron Banks sued and got a ruling preventing the use of the name by Wee Gee's guys, explaining a sole single on Mainstream Records. Though based in New York,it still seems to have been produced in Detroit, with an arrangement by Jimmy Roach. A real good tune on it's own, I posted this because unless you have the 45, you probably couldn't get to hear this. If this were a poor record you could argue it tarnishes the legacy of one of the premier groups of the 70's, but in fact it is a very good disc so probably no harm done. Enjoy this more obscure, but no less fine piece of 70's Soul. Thanks so much to billy31356 who provided the info on this one-off Dramatics on Mainstream.
