Ireland took the lead just before the break thanks to a horror own goal from Valeri Aleksanyan. Richard Dunne made it 2-0 on 60 only for Armenia after good work by McGeady to pull a goal back through Henrikh Mkhitaryan two minutes later.

It's funny, last time the only one blamed was Henry, but this time the referee is the one getting most of the blame. Like Henry, Cox didn't mean to do this, in both cases it's the referee's fault for not seeing it.

The irish probably wouldn't have gotten a chance to go to Euro 2012 without this decision (which perhaps caused the playoffs to Armenia), maybe it'll convince them there was no conspiracy in 09 (it's a shame we got in the World Cup that way but sore losers do convey weird theories).
