THE HOMESTUCK DISEASE. I HAVE FALLEN VICTIM TO IT. SOMEBODY HELP ME.

Okay...most of you probably have NO idea what Homestuck is or what's going on in this video, but that's okay. I tried to make it pretty enough for non-Homestuckers to enjoy, too. XD

Yes, Homestuck. The internet webcomic sensation. I have succumbed to it. I had no idea it was possible for a story to be so stupid, so clever and so imaginative at the same time.

What IS Homestuck, you ask? Ehhh...basically...wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey...stuff. (Imagine Steven Moffat with the maturity of a 12-year-old and lots of vulgar language, and you'll get an idea.) It's like a puzzle, a comic and an interactive game thingy all at the same time. It follows the story of four 13-year-old internet buddies - John, Rose, Dave and Jade - who play a game that can alter reality and ultimately create universes. What they don't realize is that the game is really playing THEM. Soon they become entangled in an endless, doomed, complicated cycle of apocalypses, and it's up to them - and a cantankerous race of alien "trolls" they encounter - to figure out how to beat it and save their universes.

That way, when it gets boring and stupid, you can remember, "It's going to get really epic, but I won't understand WHY unless I get through this stuff first!" That's what I did. XD That's the frustrating, yet brilliant thing about this story...nothing is quite what it seems. EVERYTHING seems completely random and ridiculous until later on, when the puzzle pieces finally come together. Then all the stupid stuff comes back and hits you smack in the face. Hard.

This is lovely -- your editing is perfect, and I never would've associated Homestuck with Tangled, but the song fits really really well. Awesome job! :D
