These people are twits. If someone is going to go shooting some students he is not going to care about some sign that says he cant bring a gun in. He is going to do it anyway. What should happen is if you can carry and you fuck up by shooting it or misusing the gun the student should be kicked out of school. That would scare students more than saying they cant have em.

First of all, I went to school at NMSU. It is state and federally funded public property. As such, we shouldnt have to leave our 2nd amendment rights at the door anymore than our 1st amendment rights should be. This is a Basic human right that our forefathers had the insight to want to protect. At one time, there was guns on campus for ROTC purposes and no one thought anything was wrong with that. FBI statistics show that right to carry actually lowers crime where its allowed.
