@DGneoseeker1 Just different game endings obviously there's the real cannon ending of how it actually happened but there's gameplay endings which we can trigger ,if we want.

@Skeletonhands12 I guess they still hadn't worked out a way to have Jill and Chris running around in the mansion at the same time. Plus Barry and Rebecca.
Wesker being dead in RE1 was obviously because they hadn't intended him to be in a sequel at the time.
What really is stupid though is that in RE1, Wesker only "fakes his death by being stabbed by the Tyrant" if Chris/Jill dies...

@DGneoseeker1 Meh the characters ending such as the good ending, bad ending etc are basically non-cannon, the true Canon ending is with Wesker faking his dead, the surviving S.T.A.R.S. Members Chris,Jill,Barry,Rebecca and Brad leaving with Brad in a helicopter while Wesker escapes the mansion on his own before it detonates, I don't know why they didn't show the ending in the remake.

@Skeletonhands12 I heard there was originally meant to be a 2 player mode in RE1 for PSX. I also saw a screenshot somewhere where it seemed that 4 STARS members were in the helipad corridor at once.
If true, then there originally would have been an ending in which all 4 actually did survive. You have to wonder why it was never implemented into the REmake,
