I am not sure what the GVW is when he has a full load in the quad axle trailer. I'll ask him when he guts up to hit the road tonight.

Going outside with the camera to do a walk around with the camera right now. :) I'll try to get it put up asap.

the max number of axles allowed in michigan is 11.
you are allowed 32,000 on the drives. each group of axles is allowed 13,000 each, if there is a singe axle, and 9 ft between any other axle you can carry 18,000 on that axle.
if you have wide floatation tires on the front axle you can also have 18,000 on it, if not then it depends on the width of the tire.
that truck the the 4-9's can carry 116,000 or 122,000 depending on the front tires.

Here in MD we have 70,000 lb GVW (gross vehicle weight) dump trucks which are required to have a tri axle, but our tractor trailer which is 80,000 GVW does not. They can be very dangerous if not lifted when coming up on a turn.

Just over 100,000 GVW when he's hauling a quad! (YIKES) I can't remember exactly, but it goes up like 11 or 12,000 per axle., and he said he's about 80,000 with a regular set of tandems, fully loaded.
