Greenscreen/ Chroma Key in Sony Vegas 9

This is a tutorial on how use a greenscreen and chroma key in Sony Vegas Pro 7, 8, or 9.

This is really simple, I haven't added any add-ons to this because I got this program only today. All you do is.

1. Drag the picture or clip onto the timeline FIRST.
2. Drag the second picture or clip onto the timeline UNDERNEATH the first picture or clip.
3. Go to video effects and drag "Green Screen" onto the picture or clip that has the green screen behind it. (if everything behind the item in front of the green screen goes black its fine.)
4.Exit out of the Chroma Keyer box.
5. Play the clip to see if you like it.
6. You're done!

how do I use chroma on a video that doesn't have green screen like is there any way to put a green screen on a video in sony vegas????????

Thank you and i have a question, i need to do these video effects for a school project. How do i show a picture and switch in in the same video? The video we want kinda like a weather report with a picture behind us with greenscreen, then change the photo behind us to something else. How would i do this? please respond, the project is due next week.

I have a question: How do you have the advanced settings for green screen stay on the program screen and not go into a pop up? Every time I do any setting the advanced things are a "popup" screen, it's really annoying. Please let me know!

thx ill try this. but u can see the lines around the bike in this one. is there a way to remove those lines?
