http://www.slmnews.com 'Judge Andrew Napolitano on the true origin of our Liberty, Abraham Lincoln & Public Miseducation' This is a powerful message for all Americans - but especially for Southerners. It's time to stand against the lies that are fed to to us. And it's time to stand against this regime which is bent on the destruction of our natural liberties.

Ironic I think, that we are taught in our gov run public schools that Lincon "saved the Union" and was "a real humanitarian" when in reality I think he planted the cancer that destroyed it (central power/control). And the "humanitarian" Lincon caused more death than I care to think about.
Rights cannot "come from" any supernatural thing. Rights cannot be "given" by God, the Bible, a Constitution, a law, or a government. Rights cannot be "given" by definition, that would be a privilege. Rights are not privileges, and privileges are not rights. See ATLAS SHRUGGED for details: "The source of mans rights is not divine law or congressional law, but the law of identity..."
It is all about religious freedom, to choose for yourself, your religious path and neither the state nor your neighbor has the right to force you into their religion. Just because you do not believe in God does not mean you think rights came from the state; never, rights come from being human.
The founders thought their rights came from God but, a lot of them had different views on this God than Christianity does today. For example, Jefferson did not believe in the divinity of Jesus. John Jay and John Rutledge objected to opening the inaugural session of the Continental Congress with a prayer. Most of the most substantial founders followed the deist ideal of God.
Then how do you reconcile the fact that the south illegally succeeded from the union becaise Lincoln was elected and that they fired the first shot? How do you reconcile the countless public records that show that what DiLorenzo claims is dishonest? How do you reconcile the fact that Thomas Jefferson himself in his own writings endorsed similar ideas that Lincoln did in action? The South started the war instead of debating. The south infringed on the rights of an entire race of people.
The south didn't start a war. There is no "illegal" secession as secession is firing the federal government because they are infringing on the rights of the people. Law has no part in it. It was 100% illegal in 1776. Abe was a horrible person and completely insane. Ft Sumpter is in south carolina. Last I checked that's not DC. Why do you want people in the US who don't want to be here?
Lincoln had agreed not to re-supply or add troops to both Fort Sumpter and Fort Pickett. He broke that agreement at Fort Sumpter and those troops were attacked because of it.
As for your "countless public records" and Jefferson "endorsed similar ideas that Lincoln did in action"--you're being pretty vague, there, pilgrim. How about some specifics that may be addressed, rather than generalities that prove nothing other than that raise doubts about your veracity, n'est-ce pas?
Do you really believe that the Mason-Dixon Line actually separated good people from bad? For your information, whites in the North didn't treat black folks any better than those in the South, because they didn't want to compete with them for jobs. Nor did Lincoln free the slaves with the Emancipation Declaration... ever bothered to actually read it? Also read the DC Emancipation Act and ask yourself why he "bought" the freedom of slaves in DC, but nowhere else.
If you don't like the truth then don't watch. But this is the truth. DiLorenzo is not the only one to say it. Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul say the same thing. And they aren't the only ones either. Read a bit more on Lincoln. He wasn't a good fellow. The man was easily America's worst president - definitely its most destructive one. And he pretty much ended constitutional government. Since then we've practically had Federal rule over the States and people with centralised control.
