@adamgergich96 NPR said they are originally from Australia and Indonesia, but met and and formed the band in new york. Their story is actually really cool. 2 of the members travelled around the world(separately) recording themselves playing exotic instruments and when they made the band they now use a lot of those instruments in their music.
