"Lady Jane" is a song by The Rolling Stones that featured on their 1966 album Aftermath.

It delivers an Elizabethan atmosphere with its lyrics and haunting instrumentation showcasing Brian Jones on dulcimer, and was rumoured at one point to be about the wives of Henry VIII. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. [Wikipedia]

  • Happy Birthday Brian Jones. And bullshit to bensmith3200. Haven't you Heard idiot? They are about togo on their 50th anniversary.Yes, i will go.I went to Brian's grave in England.I took the chunnelfrom gay Paris to England. It costs about $400 american dollars equal to the american dollar. this was in the 80's. I went on his anniversay death day july2.It took me also 3 days to learn this song on my trusty ovation guitar. it sounds just like theirs.

  • @MegaCokamo NO I DISAGREE, AT THAT PERIOD OF THE SIXTIES THE COMPETITION WAS SO HIGH, AS WELL AS THE TWO SUPER GROUP OF THE STONES AND THE BEATLES, YOU ALSO HAD THE KINKS, THE WHO, CREAM, FLEETWOOD FROM 1968 ETC ETC ETC. THE TALENT WAS SO RICH IN THOSE DAYS COMPARE TO THE RUBBISH WE HAVE TODAY, BUT SAYING THAT A REAL GEM BY THE STONES

  • Colonooooooooo '-'

  • Roll on the summertime

the cold gives me the blues

  • TOOK THREE DAYS TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY THIS NOTE FOR NOTE. It was worth it back in 1968.

  • psychedeliaaa *__*

  • Im your man!.. Kidding, A great song!

  • such a beatiful song. why do I feel like I should be picking flowers in an old english meadow and kissing a man beneath the rose bushes right now? lol

  • Sometimes I think the Beatles were just peerless, then I hear this song and think The Stones reign supreme. Ah, the same old same old. But there's no doubt the Beatles had done nothing like this or Out of Time or Mother's Little Helper or Paint it Black in early 66. I think this era of 66-68 is way underrated and their best.

  • when i first hear this song i still in junior high school. yeah2. all my friends dont understand my taste of music.
