"I am totally underinsured,,," said a well educated American. Take out a loan, get some education, but you sound like you are very well educated... so why "I am totally underinsured" ??? stupidity or naivety.
Bullshit, you could be covered if you coveted that. "that" being the security of your family"
Councilling will sort out much of the problems.
Have the hysterectomy, it'll work in the long run, had you had insurance, you;d have been fine...

If I were in their place, I'd probbably move to Canada.
Unlike most so-called "pro-lifers" in the U.S.A., Canadians actually care about the welfare of their citizens AFTER they're born.
In the U.S. if a woman decides to get an abortion because the fetus has a serious heart-defect, they're like "Oh you mustn't! That's murder!".
If the woman decides to have it, and it dies several weeks after birth because she can't afford medical care to fix the defect, they're like "Oh well. Who cares.".

America! #1 USA! #1 in "freedom" and patriotism! #39 in healthcare! thanks to all the politicians who stand in the way - NOT to worry - you're only an election away from learning what it really means to be American ;)

The idea of having an insurance company between customers and service providers diminishes the negotiation process between traders. We as a customer, we trade money for better health, but in long run, we lost all of our power to negotiate for a more affordable care.
Medical Care is a basic Human Right.

You hear people say how great America is, but then you hear stories like this. No one should want for medical care in America. Its just wrong. Health care shouldnt be for those who can afford it or have the right job, everyone should have affordable quality health care.
