Bravissima Mariella! Does someone know if this production is released on DVD? As far as I know there are only two DVD versions available: Sutherland and Theodossiou.
Devia's Bolena is very regal and dignified, but also vulnerable and delicate. This is one of the most nuanced portrayals of Bolena we've had in a long time. It's hard to believe that she's her 60s here because the singing is top notch. Brava! You really delivered the goods here, CF. Thank you.
Henry VIII always was one of my heroes.

Parece un juego cuando se compara con otras y no digamos con Maria Callas... hace falta "algo", poder, Magia!

Since I love both history and opera, Donizetti's 'queen operas' are perfect for me. I actually own a DVD of Anna Bolena and Roberto Devereux.
Unfortunately, New Zealand is such a small country that performances of these works is extremely rare.

Don't worry, you are not the only one. I think she is getting better and better.

Am I the only person who finds Devia in better voice this year than in 2006 or 07?

Bravissima...
I think she is perfect for this role. And Anna Bolena is one of my favorite operas
