Bravissima Mariella! Does someone know if this production is released on DVD? As far as I know there are only two DVD versions available: Sutherland and Theodossiou.

Since I love both history and opera, Donizetti's 'queen operas' are perfect for me. I actually own a DVD of Anna Bolena and Roberto Devereux.
Unfortunately, New Zealand is such a small country that performances of these works is extremely rare.

Devia's Bolena is very regal and dignified, but also vulnerable and delicate. This is one of the most nuanced portrayals of Bolena we've had in a long time. It's hard to believe that she's her 60s here because the singing is top notch. Brava! You really delivered the goods here, CF. Thank you.
