@bobngytr54r4 That's only at the start of the game Both goalies have to be ready for the initial whistle, After that it's your responsability to be ready...the refery may start the game after a goal is scored even if the players are not in their positions, even if you are outside of the field... but this only applies when all 11 player are on their own side of the field after the halfway line....if a player is before his/her halfway line game can't start at all until you cross the halfway line

this play would be illegal. all players must be in their positions before gameplay starts. if you play soccer, the ref must make sure that he gets the goalkeepers ready to begin.

@bobngytr54r4 yes i agree with you ..!but the ref is right..!the goalkeeper picked his hands up to thank the crowd but the reff thought that the goalkeeper picked his hands up that he is ok to start..!!that's why..!
