For the record azertyuiop32 the reason most of us DO give a shit is because the race has a lot of its previous attraction due to being made much easier. Previously you had to be one damn classy horse to win this race (aka Red Rum!), now you just need staying power. The excitement of potentially seeing many of the horses brought down (though sad if injured) and seeing the skill of others (and their jockeys) was great. Come the 90's I stopped watching it as the excitement and challenge were gone!
