Well this trailer is wrong. The film is about a boy coming to the boat (which is a pirate radio station) to find his way (or something along those lines). Not about some American leader rising up against the British Government. This trailer is quite misleading as Phillip Seymour Hoffman isn't the main character at all. His role really isn't that big at all. The version I saw was titled The Boat that Rocked (Australian) so it might be a different title to others but the movie is the same.
