Here is the original Joe Raposo song "Everybody sleeps". Another great classic that goes way back in my memory. It was also neat the way he used the same tune in both this song and "Everybody eats". I'm not sure which one was made first. Was that John Lennon who fell off the chair? LOL! This probably came out in 1969 or 1970, which is just how Lennon looked then (like on "Abbey Road").

This is such a beautiful song, this and the satellite robot toy one were my all time fav video clips from sesame street, I adore Sesame Street and shudder to think how dull my life would've been without this and playschool!! <3

@toomark Yeah, and just look at how the kid isn't really strapped in either. One sudden stop and his (or is it a her) chest is right into that bar. Wow!

@GroverKent I lived in an apartment complex in one of the two apartments closest to a railroad crossing for a track that Amtrak trains roared down. I only lived there a year and I never got used to it. Amtrak trains are LOUD when they go by!!! The slower, longer freight trains weren't much quieter either.

@darla620 I totally understand that reaction…Sesame Street entertained and educated while creating a sense of well-being for children the world over. My brothers, childhood friends and I were all in love with this show and these clips still make me smile.
