NICE LAYOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!! -
Very Nice it has that postwar feel to it =D

It's 18x16? Wow, it's a bit bigger than thought, but still excellent. How many trains can you run at once, and was setting up the wiring a pain at all?

sweet, you have some very nice buildings. Trains are nice.

Classic.

Thanks, When I built the layout I planned to have mountains and paint the background, etc. Problem was I started laying track and running trains and that was that. I'll have to post a friends layout that is even MORE classic. He runs both Lionel and postwar flyer.

I enjoy the design of your layout, and I have to ask, what shape is it and what are the dimensions?

thanks for asking. It's a "U" shape with the control part in the center of the "U". It's in a spare bedroom that my wife graciously allowed me to use as the train room. It's about 18'x16'. When I got pressed for space I cut a hole in the wall and expanded into the closet. My wife was not as happy about that ! I had dreams of building mountains but never got around to it. Got too busy just running trains - ha.

Williams made a very nice and "affordable" line of trains and I purchased a few over the years. I think they are no longer in business though. The EP-5 is a great engine. Have fun!
