Scuttle Productions Presents: Human Flight (Spring 2008)

This is my final video project for David Lachman's Visual Storytelling class at MCLA. Spring 2008.

I began to develop this video in October or November 2007 right after I first started Skydiving. I wanted to capture and communicate the feeling of freedom in the sky and the obsession many skydivers face once they taste HUMAN FLIGHT.

I used quotes from Da Vinci, a Perris Skydiving shirt, skydivers and some anon sources in the script. I have been planning and writing this since then, and here is the product.

I wanted to set the tone with the voice over and use live sound and music to assist in the overall tone.

My goal was to use a wide range of footage to communicate what was said in the VO.

Thanks. Yeah that is the gear I learned on in 2007. You should try yelling "door" when you leave a building too.

Sick video brother!! i live right in oneonta ny, So Im close to duansburge. I too thrive off of the adrenaline and freedom in skydiving. I pretty much do anything that gives me a rush, like rollercoasters and stuff. I am dying to try base jumping too! My girl wont jump yet but I think she will change her mind when she sees this video brother!

The most peacefull time of my life is afer that parachute opens and you hear nothing!!! I love it! Keep up the good work man. Chris
