Past and Presence

Robert's brother Mac arrives to the party. And then the final guests arrive. Tiffany Hill and Sean Donely!

(Flashback of Anna and Robert's wedding from 1985)

Sean and Tiffany hug Robin and then Tiffany goes to Robert and gives him a big kiss.

Sean asks Robert what he's thinking, leaving like this. Luke points out that it's Robert's past thats killing him.

The gang catches up on old times, and Tiffany asks where Holly is, Anna is to blame, and Robert laughs and is happy that they're talking about the past and Luke isn't too happy about it because he didn't come back to talk about the past, he came to save Robert's life.

(Flashback to the Aztek adventure from 1984)

Robin goes to Robert's bedside to say her final goodbyes. Meanwhile, Sean, Tiffany, Mac and Anna give Robert final encouraging words.

Finds it quite lame that Anna is still incredibly jealous of Holly and Robert's love. Seriously... that was the 80's and everyone who knows 80's GH knows that Robert and Holly were the REAL supercouple. : )

i'd like to point out that this is a fantasy anna, not 'real life' anna. It's Robert's dream so you might want to blame him for Holly not being there and for making Anna a jealous wife in the dream. Besides i think its very obvious that he doesn't think about her too much these days judging by this episode and every other episode of nightshift season two, not to mention when he was on GH last year.

Holly was going to be on... first, also when he came back in 2006 and was on the plane he was dreaming about HOLLY not Anna. GH writers have no idea how to write Holly and Anna got along at the end. So yeah it is really lame.

That was 3 years ago. I don't know if you caught all of Nightshift Season 2 but the writers made it clear that Robert and Anna are in love with eachother, and Sri Rao only invited Emma Samms for the fantasy episode, where as Anna was there for Robert his entire cancer scare, i'm pretty sure they had no intention of making Robert still have strong feelings for her.

Not taking anything away anything from R&H at all as i am a big fan of them but its clear the writers arent, ie) Luke and Holly.

THis is great stuff. The storyline on GH now has none of the spunk it had "back in the day". No more Alan and Monica...watching these people together is great!! I love the stairs in the penthouse! All Scorpio needs now is his 214 pound computer~

I think they should have had laura come back. I mean luke and Laura where a big part of Roberts life at one point. And think they will always be.

I agree, Holly was a nice love story but come on! Anna and Robert are it. Truly beautiful relationship with all it's frailties. It was always Anna for Robert imo.
