No where in the Bible does it say that mary is the queen of heaven.

...and wrong again. John clearly says: I saw the holy city.. A NEW JERUSALEM. What does Paul say in Gal 4:26: Jerusalem above is freeborn, SHE IS OUR MOTHER! The bride of Christ is the Catholic Church and all who have been saved through the sacrament of baptism within the Church. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven... the authority of Peter. (Matt 16:19) NOT 30,000 protestant groups from the 16th century onwards. @Mary was sinless, in terns of grace (not divinity) she was impeccable since she is described with the same words use to refer to r Lord. "Full of Grace": in the book of John they use this same word for Jesus. Is Jesus Full of Grace? Yes, if u say Mary was highly favored u must admit that Jesus was highly favored and not full of grace. "BLESSED R U" and BLESSED is the fruit of thy womb JESUS." Both are blessed, they have no original sin.

@Kiwic, we agree salvation is a gift of God, but we have to quote Protestants "accept Christ" or respond to the gift. What is the appropriate response? To have faith and do the will of God. Remember "a man is justified by works...."and NOT by FAITH ALONE." (James 2:24). You say the teachings of the Catholic Church r contrary but the Bible calls her the Pillar of Truth, I believe the Bible.

@Kiwic Mary is the "Queen of Heaven," When the angel Gabriel came to her, his salutation was "Hail, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee." the word "Hail" is a title given to members of royalty, that is why the virgin was confused (Luke 1:29) She is queen cuz she is the mother of the King of Kings, Jesus. Bishop Liguoris does not speak for the Church, go to the Catechesis of the Church and see the contrast.

@spikerite777 Unbelievable! The Bible speaks of the queen of heaven. Nowhere does God say mary is "full of grace", The woman in revelation is a picture of the Israelite nation as shown in Gen37:9,10 and since when do we get or obtain salvation from mary?

the rcc says that evolution is in line with Christianity and catholics can believe in it. This is CONTRARY to the Bible. the rcc says mary was sinless. this is CONTRARY to the Bible. the rcc says confess your sins to a priest. this is CONTRARY to the Bible. the rcc says mary can save you. this is CONTRARY to the Bible. the rcc says peter was "the rock". this is CONTRARY to the Bible. There are so many verses in scripture that contradict RCC theology Rom 4:5 utterly condemns the System of salvation by masses penance priests etc, bible teaches that salvation is gift of God not of works & this gift is freely given by God to those who trust in the merits of Christ's finished work on Calvary

@ahneong The woman in revelation is a picture of the Israelite nation as shown in Gen37:9,10 with the sun representing Jacob, the moon his wife Rachel, and the 12 stars representing the tribes of Israel. Christ was born of Israel. The Israelite nation is often referred to as a woman in Isaiah54:5 and Jeremiah31:32.This woman cannot be mary because the woman IS ON EARTH DURING THE TRIBULATION, whereas mary's spirit is in heaven at that time.

Salvation is not by city or town, but by faith (Eph. 2:8; Rom. 10:8-11). It makes no difference whether we belong to a church established by Peter, Paul, or Apollos (1 Cor. ch. 3), as long as we believe in Christ, and therefore ARE Christs (1 Cor. 3:21-23).
