This is a song I wrote several years ago for a ministry I am involved in called Koinonia. The theme for that weekend came from Zephaniah Chapter 3 verse 17 This song was intended to be used for the theme of the weekend, but a different song was used instead. So I hate to let it go to waste. I got my wife and a friend of ours named Marsha Johnston to sing it. My wife, Kim is in the blue dress. I played at a place in our area called Artisan's Cafe and I conned them to come up and join me for a few songs.
the words are....
(chorus)
Beneath His wings He'll keep us warm,
He's the shelter from the storm
So let's go boldly to the throne,
for He's called us each His own
He will renew us, He will renew us
He will renew us with His love
(verse 1)
He's the husband to the husbandless,
He'll hold you in His arms
He's the Father to the Fatherless,
He'll keep you from all harm
so when you feel so all alone,
and you think that no one cares
just go to Him in prayer,
because He'll always be there
(repeat chorus)
(verse 2)
Don't worry about tomorrow,
Your Father knows your needs
just trust that He'll take care of you
and you will know true peace
cast your cares upon Him,
and He will lift you up
your problems will soon fade away , as He renews you with His love
(repeat chorus)
I tried to put the chords with the words
but it wouldn't work so here are the chords...

Excellent vocals! -like the egg shaker too! Very nice chord progression- I like to use major 7th and minor 7th chords in songs I write -they give such a pretty, melodic sound. Excellent guitar!

Thanks Holly and DD. I don't know if you saw the entire video description or not, but I included the lyrics and chords. I hope this song can minister to hurting people through the words, and bring hope to those who feel like they are on their own.

Thanks Stan da man. My wife was not happy with me for posting this. She wants to redo it so I may have to post another version later. I do like the way their voicesblend together though.
