  • Nice job reading the teleprompter Abbot, have you ever used access, if you had you would be more cranky and bitter like the rest of us who have to deal with that dog of a product

  • Sounds like you have issues. I see your point but it doesn't bother me. It is like most TV commericals where the actors pretend they really like the products with big smiles. It is a method of communication well established within the business community that has developed a relationship with the audience for over 50 years. Just ignore the fluff and go for the Gold. Test drive it if you feel uncomfortable. Access 2007 is a great product, I use it on a daily basis and this looks great too.

  • For long time users of Access, 2000 and prior, the 2007 version is a freakish mess. The "ribbons" are not as concise as in the previous versions and finding things is somewhat labor intensive. I wouldn't say it's a dog, but for my situation in a small business environment with multiple, unskilled users, changing the whole look of this tool does not bode well and I'm reluctant to upgrade at work for fear of the consequences.

  • this is just like excel

  • Now what screen recorder did they use?

  • Access is by far the least intuitive of all MS apps I've tried so far.

  • how is this different from Excel?

  • "how can I delete a table from access 2010 database.
