  • bent rod action?

  • Sand crabs and plastic morf grubs are always great for surf fishing

  • If anybody fishes at huntington state beach, I need some pointers. What do you use??? And also (talking to the kid who posted the first comment on this vid) you might wanna try a small kastmaster spoon or krocodile if that's ur setup. You might just get a halibut.

  • I need some HELP>>>> I want to try and fish off the shore, what is the tOP 3 Jigs I should Use!!!! TY for your Help....i3diamonds@aol.com my name is Randy I live in Long Beach what are the Best shores to fish at??

  • i use a shimano sienna spinning reel with 6lb stren on a daiwa spinmatic 7 1/2 foot rod.I like to look for corbina and croakers.

  • shimano bait runner on a 12" bass pro shops surf rod with 80 lb spider wire ultra cast, and i use squid with two treble hooks on a slider rig. i like to pull in the sharks... Some times if seven gill are hitting i will use 108lb malin wire rigging but mostly i use 40lb flora carbon or 50 mono... but always use a full slider. and if you know how deep you are zip tie a small round piece of wine cork x distance from your bait to keep it off the floor if its dead and your worried about krabs...

  • Me at 3:11, 7:52, 5:10, and probably a few others.

  • im about to turn twelve i have a ten foot 2 peice rod and a shimano reel but i live on long island in new york and i fish robert moses state park(atlantic ocean) which is known for its rough surf. but the re a so many bass

  • abu garcia works great! I might get myself a shimano calcutta

  • Don't listen to sjsupimp. The great thing about fishing the surf is that almost any tackle you own will work for at least one style of fishing. The setup you have is a little heavy for the surf however you might be able to throw some of the heavier jerkbaits for halibut with it.
