CA Governor Jerry Brown Prevents Ban on Male Circumcision

California's governor Jerry Brown signs a bill to counteract an anti-circumcision activist group from San Francisco. Male circumcision has no solid medical proof of being beneficial for men, but is regarded as an important cultural and religious rite by the Jewish and Muslim peoples. Male circumcision is a barbaric unnecessary practice that should be outlawed in this country, a practice that will keep happening now that Brown's bill is in effect.

@bodacious919 We immunize children against deadly contagious diseases of children - chicken pox, whooping cough, measles. Circumcision doesn't immunize at all. It arguably reduces the risk of rare diseases of late onset that can be readily prevented or treated by other means, as they occur, at the owner's discretion.

The same week Brown signed a Bill banning traffic in shark fins. Sharks fins are protected, boys' 'skins are not. WTF?

Essentially, What Brown did was legalize breaking the law in California because our 14th ammendment give equal rights protection under the law for both sexes so both female and male infant and childhood prepuce excisions are allready against the law since '97. Brown is putting religious ritual law before human rights. If it's Brown, flush it down, if it's yellow, let it mellow.
