6 Desteni, Change & Agreements

would you say that Desteni has changed you? Leila: I wouldnt say that Desteni changed me, but I definitely changed within Desteni. I mean, I went through a lot of experiences, in the past, such as like physical abuse, I was into drugs, at one point I made myself develop an eating disorder and all of that. Since Desteni, that all changed, as in, I stopped the abuse within myself and got rid of those patterns that I was aware of that existed within and as me. The point that assisted me the most within changing myself and seeing what I have accepted and allowed myself to become was going into an agreement. I think after a month or so, when i was at the farm Bernard suggested you know, go into an agreement. So then I went into an agreement with Gian and I mean, I thought that before that my process had already started, and woah its so difficult and intense wait until you get into an agreement. I mean, that was actually the beginning of my process because I faced so many things, I mean the first day already, it was like just consistent of resistance. We resisted each other a lot. We had to work through a lot of points of communication, judgments, so I would definitely say that within Desteni, Agreement has supported me the most, to work as a mirror, the other person working a mirror to reflect me back to me, showing me what I am doing, what Im allowing and then pointing out to me, look this is what youre doing. You know, sometimes its kind of difficult because youre in this energetic experience and you think you have this point and you must be right and the other person will go, no, youre not right, look at what youre doing, and then youll go but, but, and then for that split of a second where you breathe, youll see it and then youll stop and then youll go, shit, right, okay, youre right, then you do self-forgiveness together, you discuss the point and let it go. I mean, me and Gian within our Agreement we had to start over a lot of times, because you cannot just , when something happens, you cannot just fix it because it will leave a scar from a certain perspective so the only way to deal with it is to just say, lets unconditionally start over and let go. So ja.
