Lectio Divina is a form of meditation practiced by Christian Mystics and Religious orders for centuries. One reads a passage, then meditates upon it in silence, allowing the mind to drift and contemplate the meaning of the words in the hope that God will guide one's thoughts.

Sometimes my mind goes to strange places. This is the result of that meditation.

  • Very well done. What is the musical background? Who is the artist?

    Thanks

  • Thanks, the music is from a CD called Vision, The Music of Hildegard of Bingen. Catherine King is the composer. The record label is Angel Records.

  • Absolutely magnificent, Nal. I came away from this feeling very peaceful.

  • We are back doing synchronicity Minn. I was working on this when you put your meditation video up. We seem to do that a lot!

  • Honestly, I think my Judeo-Christian root has the most ELEGANT and TRUTHFUL creation story in the world.

  • And the word is Aum or OM................

  • in the beginning was the word and the word was God was also written 5000 years ago in bhagavad Gita the texts of the hindu.

  • God of bible I dont belive in. I do however belivne in a intelligent non personal Spirit. The God of bbile reminds me to much of my earthly dad who abused me. But I want to get more into spiritual things and tend to go between wicca and christ. so decided to do both and make up my own religion. blessed be.

  • When you read the following thoughts of God in His Humanity, as who's voice do they sound in you now, without actually making a sound, like a still small voice within?

"Every one that is of the truth, heareth my voice."

    (John 18:37)

  • How I love this! Truly wonderful. Thank you!

  • How did you put this together. I would love to learn. Any suggestions?
