  • The first night, July 15th, they ended the show with Gossamer. This is from July 18th, and they opened with Gossamer, and the show went on for another 2 and a half hours!

  • Billy Corgan wrote basically all of their songs always so i dont really care who is in the band, i mean id prefer the original line-up but its not like they did that much for anything but their image.

  • He calls the band Smashing Pumpkins because it was the first band, and mostly the only band, he ever put his soul into. He's said many times that when he's not making music for the Smashing Pumpkins, he feels cramped, like he HAS to make it sound different from Smashing Pumpkins. Not to mention he hates his former Zwan's, while he's still on semi-friendly, but not talking, terms with Wretzky and Iha. And you haven't even given Billy time to get back in his "Pumpkin" shoes.

  • holy cow great upload

  • @sydthevanillavampire i agree about the original line up not contributing but they did a lot for there image. cuz if they didnt then a millon people wouldnt be complaining about Darcy and James not being in the reunion

  • Ginger Reyes rocks!

  • Fantastic!

  • Amazing song.

It has somewhat of a feeling

    of Pink Floyd's Echoes.

    Especially part 2 of Gossamer.

    :]

  • I can't disagree with you more wholeheartedly. Jimmy Chamberlin is widely regarded as one of the great rock drummers of all time and he was an absolute powerhouse in this band. Yes Billy was clearly the primary creative force, but Jimmy's contribution was massive. Everyone's free to have an opinion. :) Cheers.

  • they still got it!

  • Thank You!!! I'm glad someone else feels the way I do!

  • Then they don't enjoy his MUSIC. They enjoy a select pick of his songs and can't even BEAR to listen to the rest without throwing a fit. It's a concert, not a radio-station all-request hour.
