I am in my week 7 and this process is unbelievable. What strikes most is the absolutely perceptible way in which the daily circumstances around us change and conspire to create strangely challenging situations .. only to create opportunities for us to be better at 'feeling' .. love you michael. Many thanx. You rock :-))

How many times have you heard someone say "Try to relax"? :) It was pointed out to me many years ago how bad that suggestion is. "try" and "relax" are polar opposites in a way. With this in mind, I have found that by "allowing" myself relax this process is becoming more and more part of my daily living. Thank you

@mylight118 If you are reading the book you are doing the process whether you are doing the breathing or not. Everyone has their pace for this. Having the compassion for yourself to say that it's OK for right now to do just what you are doing is possible. Resistance is coming up constantly for now. But when I acknowledge it I can feel the resistance and that is also an important part of the process. I am finding that if I allow it to unfold without internal pressure it naturally occurs.

I've just started the Process for the 3rd time. I love the Presence Process because it's been such an easy, effective way to gain control of my life...or should I say my ego. Thank you, Michael. Your work is truly beyond words.
-
@mylight118 You're resisting it because your mind thinks it's too simple to be effective and it is afraid it will lose control of you if you engage in such "simple" practices.

hey mike, thx for sharing. i have been doing the presence procees . I am in my 8th week. However i am worried i am not doing the breathing properly. Firslty, i feel a great resistance sitting down for that long time, and i keep checking time while i am still breathing. What is the best way to do it? Do we sit, lie on our back, can we move or is all that is nececssary to connect the breath, regardless of moving.

@FrequencyGenerator You contain them as you process them correctly. His philosophies are not intrinsically different than Eckhardt Tolle's, there is no conflict here. The beauty is that Michael has broken it down into an 11 week guided meditation. There is no "regurgitation" This man is brilliant.

I can't imagine why I resist the breathing step...It is keeping me from actually beginning the process...it's nuts

Honest and beautiful in its (your) simplicity.
Frequency Generator-
Perhaps you misunderstand the word "contain." Containment means to create a safe place inside yourself where you are present with your emotions, compassionately allowing them to BE exactly what they are. Transmutation is an abstract concept that implies that pain should be changed or "burned up" because it is somehow bad. Pain is neutral. It is energy. If you think it should be "transmuted," you will miss the lesson it has come to teach you (so it stays until you do).

I think this is the most profound healing material I have come across in my own journey. I am so grateful to have this process to embark on as I enter 2010. Thank-you Michael.
