Linux enlightenment E17 desktop

Un joli bureau avec beaucoup d'effets possible et ne necessitant pas une grosse machine. Au repos avec 2 ou 3 fenetres le processeur tourne à 10% et 200 mo de ram sont utilisés.
La navigation est très agreable.
J'ai installé E17 sur un linux debian : ubuntu 7.04

y'a pas besoin de gros matos comme pour vista ... E17 est vraiment très léger ...

et ati est assez bien géré sous ubuntu, donc ça doit être faisable assez facilement ...

thats the wonder of linux there is a DE for everyone, i tryed all of them except this one and at the moment KDE is my fav but LXDE cames in close second

Hmmmmmmm. . . . I don't know. I'm still not a fan on the KDE 4.3. I keep checking out the newest releases, but I feel that I'm never going to like it. It's like marshmallow peeps. No matter how many times I try them, I just can't get past that marshmallow taste. Don't hate it, just not for me. This Enlightenment looks really interesting though. I for sure will have to give this a test drive soon. We may disagree, but I love that with linux we have these choices. :)

its just a shame KDE is embarasing all DE out there, and its not because the others are bad, KDE since 4.3 is just too good, when u do so much inovation in KDE 4.0 is just a matter of time until the bugs get fixed and the performance gets good, i was a fan of lightwheith DE, LXDE was my favorite, but cince KDE 4.3 came out, well its jsut hard not to migrate.

BUT i have to test e17 its the only one that i didnt tested and it seemed pretty good but KDE raised the bar to high
