i fish that river all the time its a total floss or snag fest every one dose it eccpt for the few of us who walk and get away from the yahoos and float bait no snags no flossing all suck down bites real fishermen on that river use bait! stupid snaggers!

I've fished that river. The fact is, EVERYONE fishing a corky on that river is "flossing" fish. The kids on the other side of the bank are just more effective at putting the fish on the hook, and it's legal for them. A corky fisherman is a legal snagger. If you use a corky, stop fooling yourselves into thinking they are actually biting! You catch more fish when others start snagging because it scatters the fish wildly. They move around and run into your line more frequently.

@yelekaw yeah exactly, "plenty of whites, blacks, asians and mexicans down there snagging too" just about every species on the planet is suffering and poor dude, dont try and just blame a few little kids for a poor river run

Sorry thats not jigging. No wonder the run on the Skok is getting so poor. If the commercial fishers don't get them, the snaggers do. They may be American Indian, but it still doesn't make it right and I see plenty of whites, blacks, asian and mexican down there snagging too. Its illegal and unethical no matter who is doing it. Learn to fish correctly and you don't have to bother with that desperate BS.

They don't get tickets cause they are american indian and on their land so they can do that. Also if you ever noticed when they start to catch fish other people in that hole, not snagging, start catching fish so could there be a connection. i don't know maybe
