As he sat, something caught his attention,a distant sound that i could not hear, and he began to howl. The other wolves joined in but did not rally around Kamots as they so often did. It was just the alpha and me. In the years i had lived among them, i was never so close to a howling wolf. Our bodies were almost touching and the air around us was resonating with the power of his voice. I was so mesmerized and comfortable with Kamots that what i did next was completely unconcious.'
