IN THIS VIDEO, watch as this B-52 Stratofortress makes two passes over Quonset State Airport. This was my first time in a VERY long time - at least that I can remember - seeing a B-52 in flight. This particular aircraft comes from Barksdale AFB in Louisiana and flew in from Westover ARB, MA for the flybys.

Make no mistake, this is one serious war-bird.

To me, the B-52 is a lady, and while she won't win any beauty contest, she's built solid, graceful in the air, and lethal when she's armed.
