Many climatologist point out that CO2 is not the cause and we are in a natural earth cycle. The global warming tax is the only propose solution. Pitman's comparison of a infectious disease to CO2 gas is a pathetic strawman agrument. That you would give it validity, is troubling. CO2 is not quaint traces of elemental atmospheric harmony. It is organic breath to the lungs of plant life. It is like human H2O not HIV. Why would you look at the ionopheric exhale and surmise trace amounts to be indicitive of planetary health. Increases in CO2 is the enrichment of plant life, less of it is the HIV dooms day you pray to avoid.

You're assuming that the amount of something is proportional to how important it is, which is rediculus.

For example if I injected you with some HIV virus, that's a very small amount of something but it's going to have a huge impact on you, Co2 in the atmosphere is not different.

Besides out atmophere is comprised of the following gasses:

N2 78%

O 21%

Ar 0.9%

That's 99.9% of our atmophere right there and none of those are green house gasses, so a little bit goes a long way.
