@ryan35148 Every publication has slightly different quotes because no one is really certain of what was written on the original several centuries later. Unless you have the absolute original that he wrote, there's no need to be picky.
Sorry to be so picky, its just that my teacher never gives us marks if we messed up the quote only slightly and we are also expected to know the exact location of the quote and who said it etc...
Other than that this video really helped me understand the quotes better!
daws as in jack daws, that are a type of crow that is used as a metaphor of jealousy as it eats away at it's subject

haha i love how every comment is a correction. The video was generally helpful though and a good choice of quotes.

I'm not sure the "daws" quote can be seen as ironic..if you take the full quote "For when my outward action doth demonstrate
The native act and figure of my heart
In compliment extern, 'tis not long after
But I will wear my heart upon my sleeve
For daws to peck at: I am not what I am." Iago is describing what he would not do, not what he does do.

"Who steals my purse steals trash."
Act 3 Scene 2 not Act 3 scene 3

Great video! This has really helped me.
Just one thing though
" O, beware my lord, of Jealousy; It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock,"
Is not in Act 3 Scene 2 but actually in Act 3 scene 3.
