Ventriloquist and children's television host Terry Bennett performing characters from The Jobblewocky Place - the Emmy Award nominated Chicago children's show that aired live on WBKB/ABC channel 7 from the mid 1950's to 1962. Video is from a 1962 audition for WPIX/Channel 11, New York, where Terry would land the job hosting Let's Have Fun.
Cannot believe this footage is on youtube. This is my fathers first cousin. As a kid I remember WPIX's Let's Have Fun where we visited the studio in NYC

Wow! Didn't know there was any Terry Bennett video around! IF only there was some footage of his classic Chi-town late show, Shock theatre. Igglehockey, Jobblewocky!

I have read about Terry Bennett in the book 'Chicago TV Horror Movie Shows from Shock Theatre to Svengoolie'. He was the host of 'Shock Theatre' in the 1950's.
