On yoox.com the future is now. And who better to "wear it" than Chinese supermodel Xiao Wen Ju, a new kind of digital cover star whose video-dress "magically" changes shade based on users' fancies for a strikingly colourful result.
Thanks to the innovative Speak & Shop™ feature, the new yoox.com can now change color and display an entire monochromatic selection at the simple command of a word. Millions of users can now share their hue of choice with yoox.com in nine languages.
At the crossroads of fashion and technology, the digital cover marks the launch of the new version of yoox.com, which turns shopping into an even more fun and interactive experience where voice recognition and text search come together thanks to YOOX Group's continued efforts in the fields of Technology and Research & Development, all strictly made in Italy.
The New Yooxer met up with Xiao Wen Ju to find out more about her and her style.
Xiao Wen Ju made her modelling debut in 2010 on the New York runways where she walked for Donna Karan and Phillip Lim. She soon shot to fame and went on to appear in shows and campaigns for such brands as Prada, Rochas, Kenzo and Vanessa Bruno, not to forget her magazine covers for Vogue Japan, Marie Claire and Numéro to only name a few. Blessed with a pearly white skin and magnetic eyes, she embodies a type of beauty that is at once ethereal and utterly contemporary.
For this special occasion, the face of the new YOOXCOVER tells us all and shares her top fashion and design picks.
