I think I understand your problem, to an extent. You hate the very CONCEPT of taxes.  If citizens pay taxes for anything, you think it's bad. Well, ok. If that's what you think, then there would BE no government, and consequently, no money. Then you could keep all your hard earned....gold? No, wait, sand dollar shells? No actually I tend to favor the existence of a government, small enough that it can pay for its activities through user fees, donations, investments....like United Way. So no forced collection is needed.

Also gold is money, and that green stuff in your wallet is paper. Please remember this conversation after hyperinflation hits and you are paying three hundred bucks for a meal and ten grand for an ounce of the metal you think is "not money."

People should also take a look critically at what the crazy reverend is saying with regard to issues such as the drug war and the incarceration of one in ten black American males. The man has correctly identified some very real problems. Let's help him and his listeners understand the real solution does not involve supporting politicians such as Obama.

How can people who support Obama not see that he isn't what he claims to be. Obama says he's going to "unite" us all. Yet he has the most liberal voting record in Congress. If he is a unifying force, why doesn't his record show that he has "reached across the aisle?"

Obama either is lying outright or has serious identity issues because you don't join a black nationalist church if your aim is to unify America.

Ridley: Not sure why U hate Obama so much. I get the Ron Paul thing, he's great. Maybe in 2012 he'll grow it into a party movement and it will work. Ask Dr. Paul what he thinks of Obama, you might be surprised. Dr. Paul has stated his support of Dennis Kucinich in the past. Hillary is corporatist, McCain will become the same criminal as the ones you point out (look how he's changed in 6 mos.) Obama has 2 million contributors and no pac money.
