To celebrate financial literacy month last April, Elizabeth Seton Academy (ESA) and Valerie Mosley, a Boston investment manager, teamed up for a weeklong program to promote financial fluency" at the Academy. As part of Financial Fluency Week, juniors participated in four classes led by ESA math teacher, Gloria Riley, and entrepreneur, Niaz Karim, that focused on budgeting and recognizing the power (and perils) of compounding interest.
