It might be fair to assess that a guy like Joel Anthony might deserve an NBA title at some point in time, as he seems to be one of the top defenders in the league, and an apparently rather selfless, staunch and consistent enough one, firmly acquiescing his own particular predominant, if not primary, role on a basketball court.
Maybe, the veteran Mike Bibby as well. Though, he might seem, to however much extent, a sort of a sign-and-win the ultimate prize(s) sort of a guy to me...

Kidd & Nowitzki are possibly the two most deserving basketball players of an NBA title. Perhaps especially Kidd, who has consistently been one of the absolute top semi-journeyman/semi-somewhat-
under-the-radar guards in the NBA for ages on end. I might even add that James, at some point in time, might be deserving of an NBA title in however much time to come, based sheerly on his remarkable natural skill & talent; however, maybe not yet based on an attitude of sign-and-win the ultimate prize(s).
