Through teary-eyes, Sanders revealed his stance on gay marriage had changed after considering that anything less than full marriage equality would be demeaning to his own daughter, who is a lesbian.

I as a Republican looked at the constitution when i made my final conviction. on legal issues that pertain to marriage should be extended to those consenting adults. I think the constitution doesn't give us this option to point blank do this small segment of the act of segregation.

You are missing the point. He's not crying because it's hard for him to support it. He's crying because he's filled with regret and embarrassment. He used to be against gay rights but his daughter's coming out changed his perspective.

This guy rocks. He as against gay marriage but then searched his soul and found hat was right. He now knows that all people should be treated equally regardless of race, religion and sexual orientation. We need to fight for equality and get rid of intolerance.
