Through teary-eyes, Sanders revealed his stance on gay marriage had changed after considering that anything less than full marriage equality would be demeaning to his own daughter, who is a lesbian.

@craniumdesigns As a Christian and a Conservative, I feel the exact same way. I don't know which side to take, so I basically took a neutral stance. I am nether for, nor against it. I, as a small government person, think it should be left up to the states and the citizens to decide whether or not to allow gay marriage to exist, not someone in Washington.

this is so touching. as a christian, i have struggled with my stance on this issue, but you learn to think about your beliefs real quick when people you love are hurt by your stances.

@CorvusBelli01 that's the whole point. people can disconnect themselves so easily when it doesn't affect them personally. and just from my experience, there is no " freedom in religion" from the perspective of "freedom of thought"

it just goes to show that it's easy to hate from a distance. it's not so easy to jump on the bigot band wagon when it's these issues hit so close to home. now, i'm not a religious person, but one of universal wisdom...i can say this video is what miracles are truly about and this vidoe is an acknowledment that people can and do change...for the better
