Nice video, always good so see some 747 movements at ATL. As a side, I notice there is some construction going on. Is there a new taxiway being built that connects to 09R/27L between taxiways N4 and N6? Perhaps an extension of either taxiway SC or SJ to allow for a more direct connection between the main terminal area and runway 10/28?

I have a feeling and I talked to an ASA pilot, that the taxi ways and holdings are being lengthened/widened for the A380 and B747-8i. I'm pretty sure that some/if not all of the gates at F can hold the A380 unlike any gates at E. Not sure though

There is a project underway to upgrade parts of the airfield to accommodate the A380. When it comes, the A380 will operate from gates E1 & E3, which will work together to load and unload a single A380.

You got it. This midfield cross will enhance the efficiency of 10-28, and the overall operation, saving time and money!

Are there any other construction plans for the airport? I'm only aware of the expansion of Concourse D and the expansion of runway 27R. Will there be similar expansions for 26L and about plans for adding more concourses like the South Gate Complex?
