Yes. She killed herself within a year of this show airing.
The mental health evaluators on this show really failed Kat. A girl that commits suicide in less than a year from show production would have been having difficulty while the show was being created. This should have been caught in the contestant screening. If it wasn't the tests aren't good enough. If it was caught and covered up or dismissed to make good television I would be disgusted but I wouldn't be surprised.

It's no secret that Paris had nothing to do with the contestants after the post show publicity was finished, including the winner.
The runner-up killed herself within a year of the show airing.
These contestants MUST be better tested to determine that they have the mental capacity to understand that they are being paid to entertain people and that once their contract is up no one owes them anything, like the relationship that the show was scripted to "create".
