This bill (S.7000B) was written by a large insurance company lobbyist (Manatt). It is highly discriminatory. It imposes a standard for insurance coverage that no other disability or illness must meet. A necessary therapy as occupational therapy (motor planning skills, fine motor skills) would not qualify under this insurance friendly bill. It also calls for four NYS agencies to form committees to make health care decisions that should be made by treating doctor! Get government out of healthcare!
