Raglan Castle built in the fifteenth-century by Sir William ap Thomas and his son William Herbert, later remodelled by William Somerset the third earl of Worcester, 1549-89.
Despite attempts of demolition during the Civil War, much of the hexagonal-shaped Great Tower and state apartments still survive today.

  • @rockin107 Hello. I found out a few wks ago that Sir William Thomas is also one of my ancestors. So we are related. Very cool! I have Thomas family members still today. Wonder how you and I are related. We should talk.
