its not really a prequel its more a spin-off since it doesnt have anything in common with yakuza 1 or 2 storywise (modern japan vs 16th century)

I understand what you're saying about their late releases and their lack of popularity in the UK. But you're wrong about the BBFC. You have no idea how censored and butchered our games and movies are. If you compare some the games between the UK and the US, they have more "explicit content" than the UK versions. Even in the US, some stores refuse to sell Japanese games containing "explicit content" because they're scared of the backlash they'll get from the media, parents etc.

@UndeadTurk The BBFC let most violent games through, It's just many Japanese games are never released in Europe.There are TONS more games which we haven't played simply because they're not released over here as they appeal more to Japanese audiences. It's a shame...

Way Of The Samurai 3 for example was released in Japan about Nov. 2008, and then was finally released in Europe in March 2010. When they aren't released here in the UK super-late... they aren't released here at all.

I might have known, I was beginning to wonder why this game wasn't released in the UK. Most likely because the pussies at the BBFC don't want us to play this, they would label it "too violent", refuse to give it a rating and therefore ban it. Damn those cunts!
