Between 3 July and 23 July, Woronora Dam's level went about 3 metres because in the last few days of that period well over 200mils of rain fell in the area. Yet they still let out 471 million litres of water for "environmental flows". This film demonstrates the above period and the changes that took place, including a incredible outlandish comment from Alan Jones who stated that the reason the level was kept so low was because the water if higher would flow into the long wall mining below!!!! Completely idiotic!! There is no long wall mining under the actual storage area as in place laws do not allow it. I requested, but still am waiting for a retraction from Alan Jones. Meanwhile this film will be seen around the world.
