  • This song also appeared in "Singing in the Rain" Gene Kelly sings it to Debbie Reynolds.

  • "I laid awake the..." Geez...you'd think a lyricist or a producer could get the singer to sing the right word. "I lay awake..." "Lay" is the first-person past of "to lie" with the meaning of being outstretched and supine.
